Knowing what is 'better' for us, is hard, but once we understand how we want our life to feel, we can start translating actions we can DO into getting the feelings we so desire and need. But the work is far from over.
Going back to 'balance' for a minute, we will have to know what we can part with, or at least make a lower priority, so we can actually 'get' better. Unfortunately, everything we want is worth having, or we wouldn't want it! The problem is like fitting what we need into a box; only so much will fit. Once full, everything outside it is lost, discarded. We need to be certain that the most important things go into the box first, then fit some other 'next-most-important' things, and so on.
